2 Questions You Should Ask Before Publishing a Blog Post

Having a fresh content regularly published is something we bloggers strive to do weekly. We might even have a blogging schedule that we try to stick to as much as possible.

This is great but in the bid to follow our schedule of churning out regular content we might end up publishing mediocre content.

A lot have been written about quantity and quality of blog content. And people have always preferred quality content over quantity content.

To help me publish quality content that is as unique and great as possible, I now ask myself 2 questions.

Questions That Can Help You Produce Unique and Great Content

1.  Has It Been Said Before?

Has the idea been said before? Have I read it somewhere already? How was it said? Is it Common knowledge?

Common knowledge is boring and every niche; topic has its common knowledge. And giving out common knowledge the same way everyone does is boring too.

If an idea or subject is not so popular, it is usually a good content to share with others.

If it is very popular already, I stay away from it.

2.  Can I Say It Differently?

Saying something totally new might be farfetched   because frankly speaking almost every angle or topic has been explored by many other bloggers.

So what do I do?

I try to say the same thing in a different way. I use my unique angle. I use my personal stories and my experiences .This makes an old idea stand out fresh and new.

Surely, these are not all the question or consideration to look out for when making a blog post. But these are what I use.

What about you?

What do you consider or look out for when making a blog post?

Please share your ideas in the comment box.

Thank you.

    Spot on MK.

It’s good to develop a mindset which allows you to even delete the post if you’re not able to say yes to at least one of these.

Yes, we are a culture of derivative ideas but we can always create something new or improve upon an idea in relation to the demand by the community.
