Derenle is an eccentric Nigerian entertainer, MC and celebrity well known for his crazy, sassy, look, style and dressing.
He wears crazy outlandish outfits and hairdo to red carpet shows, TV shows and every social event he is invited to.
He could be simply described as the only Nigerian celebrity that wears crazy, outlandish fashion to red carpet events.
He is now very popular and is sort after for music videos, anchor for shows and other events.
This all happened because he decided to be crazy and filled a vacuum that no one else filled.
This has made him:
1.    Popular
2.    Distinct
3.    Different
4.    Sort after
5.    Unique

How to Be Unique and Distinct
What Derenle did was basically picking a style that no one else had and stuck with it, long enough for people to notice.

Using this path you should find:
1.    Find a blog style ( niche , business ,product) that no one has picked
2.    Stick with it for a long time for people to notice
Entertainers know how to use identity and distinctive style to garner publicity, controversy and fans.
Bloggers and businesses can also achieve a lot by following suit.
The funny thing is, any one who tries to copy what Derenle does will be seen as a copycat or will be called another Derenle.
Copying someone else may give you some publicity but I believe it is better to be Steve (with his own style) than another Derenle.
How to Apply This to Your Blog
So the rule is- get your own distinct style and stick with it.
Derenle found a vacuum and filled it; let your blog or business fill a vacuum.
There are so many vacuums you can fill, just find one or create one.
If your blog fills a vacuum, it will be difficult for someone else to take it from you.
Finally, from today to do something on your blog that will form part of your identity. Something you want people to describe or identify you blog with.
